Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian artist and actress. She started modeling at 13 years old and her first acting gig was at 15. Following her modeling career, she appeared in many films and television shows. Cornish is well-known for her portrayals of Bess Throckmorton, the courtier in the historical film "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" and the heroine addict called Candy in the film "Candy." Lindy in sci-fi thriller "Limitless" as well as Fanny Brawne, in the biopic "Bright Star". Her television roles include "Outriders" as well as Marking Time'. As a rapper and a singer, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk". Born in New South Wales and raised in a family of three brothers and one sister, she had a decent childhood before her parents separated when she turned 16. Even though their divorce was painful for her, Abbie managed to get past the trauma by focusing on her budding career. The Australian beauty is fond of playing the piano and guitar, but she is more into acting than anything else. Cornish who is a strict vegan, has a strong belief in the rights of animals. She also gives to animal rights organizations from time to time. Abbie Cornish was birthed in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. Abbie Cornish is the second child of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. She is the older sister of Isabelle Corish who is also an actress. Regarding the romance life of the actress she was previously engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 to 2010.
