Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter (born July 23rd 1970) is an American actress. She played Cordelia Chase in the series of supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999) and its spin-off series Angel (1999-2004). She also played Kyra in Charmed (2004) and as Kendall Casablanca's role in Veronica Mars (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell in The Lying Game (2012-2013), and Lacy in The Expendables film series (2010-2012). Carpenter was born in Las Vegas. She is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French and German descent. Carpenter was a student at the Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas. Carpenter was an active member of a song-and dance troupe which performed in Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family relocated to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) at the age of Carpenter was 15 years old. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduating, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. When she returned to San Diego, she worked as a clerk at a video store as well as an aerobics instructor as well as in property management. She played for the San Diego Chargers football club in the year 1991. She moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. confronted her along with two of her male buddies when they were swimming in San Diego. He was a former San Diego cop and serial rapist who attempted to subdue the group with a gunpoint. Both Hubbard Jr. and her companions were shot in the struggle. Both of them survived. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for a series of rapes, robberies. Carpenter grabbed Hubbard's flashlight an official police flashlight, off the beach. The flashlight was an important piece of evidence against Hubbard.
