Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress. Most well-known is her roles in ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series in the role of Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was featured as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz she is a Polish-American she attended ninth year in Poland. She was brought up by her uncle, and she was a student at Jelenia Gora School. She later attended Vancouver Film School. She began her interest in acting at the age of 10 after her brother introduced her to Pulp Fiction. In 2002 she began her first appearances in the TV series Jeremiah. She was also a guest in John Doe's TV series. From 2007 until 2009, she was the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. She was a part of Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film, in 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a series regular) in the television drama Caprica with Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. In the following season, she appeared in the show Hellcats. In 2012, she was the guest star on Jane Espenson's second series, the romance web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the series Continuum. She was also Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film written by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno, although it was shot in 2012, was released in the world in 2015. Apanowicz was cast to be the character Angela in Volition which is a science-fiction thriller film. It was released in 2020.In 2019, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
