Sofia Margarita Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara, Spanish was born on July 10, 1972. She is an actress presenter, producer, model and TV presenter from Colombia. Vergara was the highest-paid actress on American television between 2013 until 2020.Vergara was a star when she began hosting two shows on the Spanish-language TV network Univision in the mid-90s. Her first significant role as an actor in English was in the film Chasing Papi (2003). Later, she was seen in Four Brothers (2006) and Tyler Perry's comedy Jail (2008). She was nominated for an ALMA Award for the former. She began her career as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in ABC's comedy show Modern Family in 2009. In the role she was honored with four Golden Globe Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards. Her voice-over roles include Happy Feet Two (2011) and Escape from Planet Earth (2013). She was also in The Emoji Movie (2017). Vergara was the most-paid Hollywood actress in 2020[citation required]. Vergara is the judge of America's Got Talent since 2020. Vergara was born in Barranquilla by a Roman Catholic couple.  Her mother, Margarita Vergara de Vergara was a housewife, as was her father. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo, was a cattle rancher in the meat industry. Vergara was referred to as "Toti" by her five siblings and numerous cousins. Vergara completed three years of dentistry at National University of Colombia. However, she decided to withdraw from the school two semesters in advance to explore opportunities in show business and modeling.
