Pom Klementieff

Pom Klementieff, an actress from France, French actress was born on 3 May 1986. She received her training at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris and has been featured in such films as Loup (2009), Sleepless Night (2011) and Hacker's Game (2015). She portrays the role of Mantis, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017). Avengers: Infinity War (2018). Avengers: Endgame (2019). Pom Klementieff was raised in Quebec City to a Korean father and a French-Russian wife. He was consul for the French government. Eugene Klementieff was her grandfather. Her parents chose the name "Pom" because it is like the Korean words for both "spring" and "tiger". Klementieff was in Canada for a year prior to her family went on a long trip due to her father's employment. After the move to France and then to France, she lived in Japan. Klementieff's father, who died in the age of five from cancer, was her mother. Additionally, she suffered with schizophrenia and didn't have the time for her children. Klementieff was raised with her aunt and paternal uncle. Her uncle, who she said in her own words as "like [her] first father," died on Klementieff’s 18th birthday. Her brother, who was younger, took his own life seven years later. The second time, it was the 25th anniversary of her birth. Klementieff was able to briefly pursue law school after the death of her uncle. However, she did not find this career path attractive. She was also a waitress and saleswoman in France. At the Cours Florent drama academy in Paris, she began acting when she was 19. After completing her education, she was awarded an award in the theater which granted her two years of tuition free with some of the top teachers at the school. The first time she was professionally acting was in the French independent film Apres lui (2007), acting as the stepdaughter in the film of the main character which was played by Catherine Deneuve. The filming process was a three-day process. During one scene, Klementieff was supposed to push someone down a flight of stairs but she fell down the stairs herself, as did director Gael Morel kept that shot for the final film. Loup (2009) was her debut film with a leading role. It's a French film that tells the story of a tribe of Siberian mountain reindeer herders. The film was shot in the middle of a camp located at a distance from the closest village. There, temperatures dropped to zero.
