Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols is the daughter of Alison and James Nichols. Nichols is French Canadian and English descent. Cony High School, Augusta is where she earned the high jump award. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with a double degree in economics and math. She began modeling and launched a successful modeling career, with prominent firms like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch or L'Oreal. Rachel moved into acting after securing a role on the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) after her first audition. Her first film role was Jessica Matthews in Dumb and Dumberer: How Harry met Lloyd (2003). Success continued with performances in projects such as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2008), Criminal Minds (2006) (a frequent role in the FBI Agent Ashley Seaver role) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). Columbia University was her graduation with a double major economics as well as math. She played the main part of Kiera Cameron and a police agent in the science fiction series Continuum (2012). She was a model for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch, L'Oreal and Nicole Miller. She was the hostess of a restaurant in Sex and the City, the first part for which she auditioned.
